I feel like I can stare at this tree forever..

I gave myself this task: something cheap and something different.

Two of the jars are used as tea light holders, and the last one is a vase with one of my very favorites ~ ivy. I framed a simple collage with some old sheet music and a nice paper. My husband is the owner of the hat, but I think a cool hat like this is not worthy a dusty place in the closet. He agreed and was actually honored!

I bought an old frame at the Salvation Army and sprayed the glass plate with a stencil from these guys. I'm actually really happy with the result!

..something old, something new

I love giving housewares different jobs than what they normally are used to. And I can feel they love me back.. The cream jug is either a flower vase or a candle holder, the sugar cup contains my cotton pads and the coffee jar protects my q-tips. They are all vintage items and were found at a yard sale.
