..wedding flower decorations

 I placed two very old cherry trees, decorated with hanging flowers in small glass tubes, 

on both sides of the altar.

A simple DIY - project right there.

We brought the trees indoor for the reception. Great for decorating a large hall.

The bride and the groom were brave enough to plan an outdoor ceremony. In Norway that's not to common because the weather is changing so much, but this time it turned out to be great.

..another June wedding bouquet

Yet again I've had the great honor of making a wedding bouquet. This time with peach and gray-green colors. I went for a whimsical look but still a bit clean. "Less is more" was definitely not the idea behind this bouquet. I wanted the bride to keep discover new things when she looked at it.

I got to co-shoot a wedding this weekend and what a beautiful wedding and couple! Lace, roses and daisys.. Mmm.. Here is a few of the shots.

Yesterday two dear friends got married and I got the great honor of doing the flowers! 

Here is a list of the flowers I used for her bouquet;

Very simple, but elegant. The "septer" didn't turn out as I planned at all. I wanted the florist to twist some of the ribbon I gave her (from my dress) together with wire and make it look like a golden septer. For some reason she didn't.. But maybe I can hand over the idea to somebody else?

..february flowers

At this time last year I was in beautiful Northern California enjoying the spring flowers. This year, in Norway, the only flowers I get to enjoy outside are the ones I freeze. It's hard to get a good result, so I'm not ready to take picture of them quite yet. This picture is of a beautiful decoration is from this wedding.

I have to share this piece of art with you. Isn't this one of the most gorgeous wedding bouquets you have ever seen? The bride (Benedicte) were holding an oil lamp that was given to her mom when the bride was a newborn baby. The reason it was given to her mom was because everyone thought she was dying, but she survived:)

I got the great honor of shooting this beautiful couple's wedding together with Ross Bodenmann. It was a great wedding with lovely details. One of my favorites details was the brides pink shoes!
