I've been told that the former owners of our house used to do a great job with the garden, so I've been really looking forward to find the hidden treasures that I assumed where there. I was right! Oh how I love flowers ❤

..colts foot
I always pick the first colts foot I see every year, but it only last for a day when I put it in water. So this year I decided to pick more than one and turn it in to a potted plant. Now it's the forth day I'm enjoying these lovelies ❤

..this week I saved a cherry tree
A farmer was cutting down a garden full of old cherry trees in front of our house, but I think he saw the sorrow in my heart so he let me keep one (at least for a while) What a beautiful gift!

..instruments on the wall
Of course my hubby's guitar get a spot on the wall, but I didn't want my Irish whistle to feel less worthy.. Now they're a duo.

..DIY curtains
1.
1.
This whimsical curtain was very easy to make. It's just a piece of linen fabric that is the same size as the window (frame included), wrapped up with two large ribbons (made out of the same fabric). I have been cheating a little bit at each side of the curtain, shaping it the way I want with a hidden needle. This kind of curtain is for decoration only, but I also use it for hiding a window blind.
2.
Another version that my amazing mom made for us. She rolled the fabric on a curtain rod.
I love these kind of curtains since the rooms seem bigger, we get more light in and our little kid can't tear them down..
