I think those before and after pics will have to wait for a while. No rooms are completely finished. But I'll continue with the snippets. The blue fabric you see is from our couch. We got it from the previous owners of the house and we like it very much! It's from the late 60's. And the "new" vintage ladder is also very loved.

I can't believe I haven't heard of this before, though I know it has been done by so many before me. Anyway, I got the inspiration from this great blog. Trough the top lid you can see a note with the rest of the baking procedure.

So here is the first before and after picture. There is a few more things I want to do with our kitchen before I give you the whole view.

We are really happy about how the floor turned out. It's actually vinyl flooring, but it looks so realistic! The keywords for our new kitchen is; white, gray, linen, metal, chicken wire, leather, wood and green..

..bird tree

I'm sorry, I know most people are very tired of Christmas decorations by now, but I just had to show you our Christmas tree. It's so small that only my birds and some flowers could fit in it. It's a potted tree, so hopefully I will have the same tree next year.

What date is Christmas over for you? I used to think 8th of January, now I'm not sure anymore..

..new beginnings - big changes

Long time no see! We have finally moved in to our new home, got internet access again and are ready to show some of the things we have done to our place so far. But now I want to show you a sweet gift our baby received in the mail today - all the way from California to Norway. Handmade by Chloe Casselberry - what a treasure! Thank you sweetheart!
