..my vintage wall

We are working on selling our beloved appartment these days so I thought I would like to share some pictures of it before we're packing everything down.

Here is  a picture from the wall of our entry room:

Framed butterflies: My sweet friend Marie gave me this to me. She found it in Paris.
Plant: I simply love plants in jars! Also check out this post
Old picture: The little boy is my husbands grandfather.

Talking about old photos. I had a discusion with my brother today. We both like old photos, but he thinks it's more fun with photos of strangers, so that he can make up their stories. I like to know the story behind every picture and it should also be family members. What would you prefere?

..please have a seat

In Northern California there lives a creative lady that I call my American mom. Her name is Shelly Shively. She loves taking old furnitures and give them a new life. Pure eye-candy!

You can contact her at michelle.shively@att.net if you are interested in buying.

..suitcase addiction

First of all, cudos to Katie Thompson for designing this awesome chair!

Second of all, yes, I must admit that I have a suitcase addiction (vintage suitcases). The problem is that I don't want too much stuff in my tiny appartment that don't have a function. But luckily for me suitcases are great for organizing stuff! Here is a list of ideas on what to fill them with;

..Board games
..Ribbons
..Art supplies
..Baby clothes
..Photos
..Yarn
..Magazines
..Books
..Towels

..do you have any other ideas?

I also like this idea I found at 'A beach cottage'

..frame a note

All you need is a frame with glass and a whiteboard pen. Good for writing grocery list - or something else..

..and I should fill you with?

Not often is bright colours sneaking into my apartment, but it was love at first sight when I met this box at Salvation Army! The fun part was to figure out what purpose it should have. It's now filled with tea bags..
